You Be The Judge

Friday, May 9; Begins at 6 pm
To kick things off on Friday evening, a new You Be The Judge Experience will be introduced, offering the public a chance to help decide the Kansas City Barbeque Society wings and sweets competitions. If you want to taste some great food made by KCBS competition teams, You Be The Judge Experience is the perfect opportunity for you! This event does not require any previous training, just a healthy appetite! Judging includes tasting of six wings and six desserts; judges can graze on any leftovers after the competition. Your ticket includes admission into the festival for Friday, May 9 (hours are 4-10 p.m.).

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance online or at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office. Availability is limited, tickets sold on a first come, first served basis.

• 6 p.m.: Judges Check-In & Meeting
• 7 p.m.: Turn-In for Wings, Tasting Begins
• 7:30 p.m.: Turn-In for Desserts, Tasting Begins

Outside drinks, etc. are not allowed into the judges tent. Water will be available. Parking is free, but it is recommended that you allow at least 20 minutes for parking. Each judge will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival to the judges tent.
